Thursday 26th September - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – mainly
cloudy with some light rain.
The cold continues so I had to give windsurfing a miss today, shame really
as it looked a nice foiling day but on the bright side we had the lovely
Maeva:) I still managed my exercises even if feeling a little rough. Then
while Mag picked up Maeva I headed down to the seafront to take some
weather pics, just sitting on a bench to watch the world go by, loads of
kids on school outings. Home to have fun with Granny’s girl Maeva who
didn’t look 1005 and even went to sleep on Mags lap for ages! I then made
lunch mainly based around toast before making a flask and we all headed
down to the prom and found a nice spot behind a wooden groyne but the wind
had eased back now. It did start to rain for a bit but quickly cleared with
the sun returning, we even got a bit of a rainbow and some amazing clouds.
I made Maeva her fist sand castles but she did not stand on them, she then
had fun passing stones to Mag to throw in before walking home through the
town with the rain coming as we entered our road! She stayed for tea and
even let me read her some books before her Dad picked her up, another top
day she is an absolute star:) Tomorrow is looking grim with rain and cold
winds from the north and with poor tides for the Stour I wil give sailing a
miss again!
